Chartered surveyor and business director. Resident of Rye and actively involved in a range of community activities. Non Executive Director of East Sussex Healthcare Trust.

 


Sally Compton

Vice Chairman since 2010.

Board Member since 2007. Set up and ran specialised Middle East recruitment and headhunting company for ten years. Latterly mediator with law firm. Lives in Rye and involved in several community activities.

 


Dr. Liz Bamji MRCGP, DRCOG

Joined the Board in 2013. Member of the Clinical Sub-Committee.

Medical training in London and the West Country, practiced in S.E. London before becoming Partner in large Health Centre in Sidcup, Kent in 1989. Living in Rye since 2011.

 


Dr. Ben Chishick, MRCGP. DRCOG

Joined the Board in 2000.

Medical training in London. Retired GP of the Rye Medical Centre. Member of SIMCAS attending emergency and accident cases. Lives in Winchelsea.

 


Jeremy Huddle

Joined the Board in 2012. Chairman of the Investment Committee

Twenty years in many different departments of the Bank of England. Subsequently Head of Institutional Sales for Fixed Interest Products of German Bank for twenty years. Living in Rye since 2003.


Jo Kirkham MBE

Board Member since 2011.

Has served on Rye Borough Council, now Town Council, for 41 years, and was Mayor from 1979-82, always standing as an independent. Governor of Thomas Peacocke Community College, now Rye College and Chairman Rye Grammar School Foundation Governors, Chairman Rye & District Council for Voluntary Service, Director of Rye Partnership, Rye Castle Museum and Rother Voluntary Action. Previously taught at Thomas Peacock Community College and Brighton University.

 


David Nelson

Joined Board in 2012. Chairman of the Governance Committee.

Chartered Accountant running large professional practice in London and Paris. Non executive director of several companies including substantial Media and Hotel Groups. Lives in London and Rye.

 


Jacky Dudfield

Board Member since 2014. Chair of the Liaison Committee.

Chair of Rye Medical Centre PPG. Before retirement was a Nurse Consultant at the Department of Health. Nurse and midwife with national and international experience. Family connections with Rye for 45 years and a resident in Brede/Iden for 22 years.

 


Dr Mahendra Kondagari

Board member since December 2018

Medical degree from India, GP training in Hastings, dermatology degree from Cardiff university. Currently working as GP at Rye medical centre and community dermatologist working at Rye and Conquest hospital.
